Why can't I hear the audio from my Nest Cam / Dropcam?

Camio analyzes and stores only the latest live snapshot images from Nest Cam and Dropcam cameras, because those particular brands do not provide access to the encoded video+audio stream of the camera.

So Camio is useful with these particular camera models only when you want 30-day storage, fast search and precise alerts to get the information content from the video, but Camio is not good match for these camera models if you need to playback the encoded video and audio. It's best to use Camio Box (camio.com/box) with any camera or NVR that supports standard access to its video stream.
