These instructions reference the FI9826P User Manual.
- Find the IP address of your camera on your local network. We recommend using the app called Fing for iOS and Android to find the IP address.
- Open the IP address of your camera with your Web Browser. For example, if Fing found your camera at IP address 192.168.1.72, then you would open the page http://192.168.1.72 with your Web Browser.
- Enter the settings changes outlined below.
Did you forget your username and password after changing them from Foscam's factory default usernname:admin without any password? Follow these factory-reset instructions.

|Schedule||All||Click all days so that all times are red, indicating capture is always active.|
|Triggered Interval||5s||Or the lowest value available.|
|Action: Take Snapshot||checked||Time Interval 1s|
|Schedule||All||Click the All button so that the entire time range is selected and red colored.|
|Set Detection Area||all regions selected||See Figure 4.56 and make sure that all regions of the camera's view are selected for detecting motion so that any movement in the scene triggers a motion-detected FTP transfer.|
