How do I add Visual Agents to my Camio account?

BETA

Note: The following feature is restricted to Visual Agents subscribers only.

Please read Getting started with Visual Agents

In order to add Visual Agents to your Camio account, visit the Integrations page of the Visual Agents product at https://ai.camio.com/integrations. From here, you can easily add hooks to a Camio account specifically for use with Visual Agents.

The following information will be required for each hook:

A Visual Agents Policy, which can be created from the Visual Agents Policy page https://ai.camio.com/policy

  • If no Policy is configured, the Default Policy will be used automatically.
  • If no Policies are set up on the account, and no Default Policy exists, the integration will fail.

A Camio API Key, also referred to as a Developer OAuth Token, which can be generated at https://camio.com/settings/integrations/#api

  • Any key generated via this page will only appear once upon generating, and should be stored in a secure location after generation.
  • Any new key generated here will invalidate any previously generated keys, thus only one Camio API Key may be active at a time.

The Host Account Name (email) of the Camio account to create the hook for. This account will own the hook.

  • The Host Account can be configured to any Camio account which the Camio account that owns the Camio API token has Can Manage access to. You can check for Can Manage access via the Guests page on Camio https://camio.com/guests

A Visual Agents API Key, which can be created at https://ai.camio.com/keys

  • Any key generated via this page will only appear once upon generating, and should be stored in a secure location after generation.
  • Visual Agents allows for the creation and usage of multiple keys at the same time. It is best security practice to generate a new key for each Camio Host Account integrated with.

The Camio Query text used to determine which Camio Events will trigger a Visual Agents Policy Assessment.

  • You can use any filters you would normally include in a Camio search query, such as camera names, groups, time ranges, rates, zones, colors, and any other labels, including custom labels. Take the following examples:
  • "ACMEFrontCamera 1pm to 5pm truck 10-minute-parking-zone"
    "CameraGroup01 11pm to 5am human vehicle"

Once you have provided the above information, select the Create Integration button, which will automatically create your new hook with Camio.

You will now be able to see the newly created integration on the top of the page, with an option to view the Camio Hook on the Camio Hooks page for that account, as well as delete the hook from Visual Agents.

Note that all hooks created through Visual Agents must first be deleted on the Camio Hooks page for that account before being deleted from the Visual Agents Integrations page.
