How do I add Visual Agents to my Camio account?

BETA

Note: The following feature is restricted to Visual Agents subscribers only.

Please read Getting started with Visual Agents.

In order to add Visual Agents to your Camio account, visit the Integrations page of the Visual Agents product at https://ai.camio.com/integrations/. From here, you can easily add hooks to your Camio accounts specifically for use with Visual Agents.

The following information will be required for each hook:

  • The Camio API token created at https://camio.com/settings/integrations/#api
  • The Host Account Name of the Camio account to create the hook for
    • If the configured Host Account is not the same Camio account as the owner of the provided Camio API token, the account owning the Camio API token must have Can Manage permission on the configured Host Account in order to add the hook.
  • The Visual Agents API Key you create at https://ai.camio.com/keys/
  • The Camio Query text used to determine which Camio Events will trigger a Visual Agents Policy Assessment. The default is "human vehicle".

You can use any filters you would normally include in a Camio search query, such as camera names, groups, time ranges, rates, zones, colors, and any other labels. Take the following examples:

"ACMEFrontCamera 1pm to 5pm truck 10-minute-parking-zone"
"CameraGroup01 11pm to 5am human vehicle"

You may want to review the following help articles relating to Camio search queries:
How to limit callbacks to certain times of day, and How do I exclude specific cameras from Hook callbacks.

For more complex scheduling, such as varying schedules per day, we recommend configuring a schedule on the relevant box or cameras through the Camio app.

Once you have provided the above information, select the Create Integration button, which will automatically create your new hook with Camio.

You will now be able to see the newly created integration on the top of the page, with an option to view the Camio Hook on the Camio Hooks page for that account, as well as delete the hook from Visual Agents.

Note that all hooks created through Visual Agents must first be deleted on the Camio Hooks page for that account before being deleted from the Visual Agents Integrations page.
