Why am I missing video? (it's playing images only)

If you see only snapshot images rather than video when you play an event, then check the:

  1. subscription plan for the specific camera. Make sure that the video recording plan you purchased has been assigned to the camera that is missing video on the camio.com/boxes page.

  2. upload_queue_length of your camio.com/boxes to verify that your uplink bandwidth can handle the amount of video you're uploading. See the article How do I know that a Box can handle more video streams to tune the bitrate, number of streams, and uplink bandwidth.

  3. recency of events may not have the associated video for 20-30s from the time that the event started, since Camio Box first indexes and analyzes the event and then manages the priority of the associated video uploads to optimize bandwidth and performance.
