Unlike the disc failures, power losses, or network connection outages of on-premise NVRs that may fail silently undetected, the cloud is always running and checking not only for errors but also for the absence of expected events.
If a camera loses contact for any reason (e.g. local network failure, camera failure, Internet connection failure, etc.), then get alerted via Camera Diagnostics.
