To facilitate your completion of descriptions of Security Procedures in support of BCC-LIC-018 (https://www.bcc.ca.gov/law_regs/bcc-lic-018.pdf), please feel free to copy/paste/augment the descriptions supplied below as part of complying with BCC regulations.
5. Provide a description of the video surveillance system, which includes:
a. A description of the types of cameras and video storage equipment.
All cameras are 2 Megapixel IP Cameras with H.264 encoded video and 98-ft range infrared night vision powered by, and connected to to Internet by, Power-over-Ethernet cables. All video is stored and replicated in multi-regional, tamper-proof, cloud storage via camio.com. An on-premise video gateway (camio.com/box/pro) retains an on-premise queue of stored video events so that transient Internet connection outages do not interrupt the continuous video history.
b. A description of the camera placements and the number of cameras to be used.
c. A description of the procedures for the maintenance of the video surveillance equipment.
The health of each video stream and of the on-premise video gateway is monitored automatically by camio.com cloud servers. Daily email digests are also sent to account managers to help identify any image quality of camera position changes that need attention.
d. A description of how the applicant will be notified of video surveillance system-failure or malfunction. e. A description of how the video surveillance system will be monitored.
All the cameras' network connections are monitored continuously by the on-premise video gateway (camio.com/box/pro) and email notifications are sent to the manager of the account whenever any connection interruption is detected. Even in the case of complete power loss, which disables both the cameras and video gateway, the cloud servers notify account managers of the lost communication between the gateway and the cloud.
f. A description of how the applicant will produce copies of video recordings at the licensed premises immediately upon request of the Bureau.
Upon request, the video associated with the period requested will be supplied immediately via link. Since all video is automatically stored in the cloud, there is no latency between the time of the request and the time of receipt of inspectable video history. The link can be opened in any web browser as in this example from two cameras ("east" and "west") between 9am PDT and 10am PDT October 24, 2018:

g. A description of how the applicant will share the video surveillance system with other licensees (when sharing services at the same location), if applicable.
Authorized personnel will have Guest access to monitor and share video history using Camio's authenticated Guest settings described in this article:
