Contact tracing
When someone has tested positive for COVID-19, it's common to trace contacts with that person to notify other people that may have been exposed and to plan industrial cleaning. Camio helps to:
- Find the times and places that the infected person was present;
- Find other people that may have been too close to the infected person without PPE;
- Repeat 1 and 2 for each person in contact with the infected person;
- Collect the results of the contact tracing while maintaining confidentiality.
Access Granted Events
Camio annotates security video with access control events like "access granted" so that it's fast to find the video related to any door opening.
When a person has tested positive for COVID-19, one of the first steps is to review the times s/he has entered or exited in order to constrain the time period for contact tracing.
Finding "too close without mask"
After determining the time range of entry and exit from the buildings, the query "too close without mask" helps identify incidents in which the infected person may have transmitted the virus to another person.
To contact the people that came in contact with the infected person, SOC staff can review the access control credentials presented in the video events to help correlate the person seen in the video with their access control credentials. That way the contact tracing investigation can produce a list of people to contact.
Annotating Events to complete investigation
As potential contacts are identified, the investigators can label the video Events quickly. That way, confidential information remains securely encrypted in the cloud without downloading images or video to local disks. Staff can also collaboratively review events concurrently.
